Netball
he 2010 committee members are: Tania Hoare President, Kay Barlow Secretary, Louise
Biddell Junior Co-Ordinator, Lynlee Hancock, Anissa Thompson, Rowanna Grundy, Kerry Evans, Leanne Goldsmith
We have started 2010 with a large number of players and the committee and coaches are doing their best to give
all girls a game. The 15/u team have 15 registered players and Kiri Pederson (coach) is doing a wonderful job
playing them on a roster system. Cindy Rudduck coach of the 13/u has 11 girls and they are also on a roster
system. G Grade coach Anissa Thompson has had a great start to the season with the girls only having one loss
for the season so far. The H grade are having a a great time learning the basics of netball and enjoying their
Saturday morning match play with coaches Catherine Carroll and Lisa Rudduck. On a Thursday night is Net Set Go
with these girls and younger ones enjoying games and skill development with Catherine and Lisa.
We have a big list of senior players with Coaches : A Grade Janet Tucker, B Grade Lisa Rudduck, C Grade Lynlee
Hancock and D Grade Leonie Anderson doing their best to field competitive sides, and utilising as many players
as possible.
We rely heavily on all girls and their parents to help out on a Saturday home game. There are many jobs to do
including scoring, timing, scoreboard attendants, umpires, team managers and canteen workers. This is a huge
task to co-ordinate and thanks to Leanne Goldsmith for the rosters she produces for each week.
