Soil Sampling Rigs
Mounted on a Toyota cab/chassis,
Rockmaster Soil Sampling Rigs are Rockmaster drills extended to drill to a depth of 10 metres,
digging 2 metres per extension.
The digger is designed to press sample tubes to 6 metres.
A hydraulic rock breaker is used to drive the tube in when the ground is too hard.
The Soil Sampler Rig is raised & lowered hydraulically for travelling &
has jacking legs at each corner of the vehicle for levelling.
The rig is driven by hydraulic pumps from the P.T.O.
These extendable rigs can also be used to shallow bore for water & mineral exploration, up to a depth of 25
metres.
